We know that timely and accurate quality testing allows buyers to find the product they need and producers to yield a consistent product.

We conduct an annual quality survey of hard red winter (HRW) wheat in the Great Plains and PNW states of Colorado, Idaho, Kansas, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Dakota, Texas, Washington and Wyoming. Wheat samples taken from grain sheds in these states are quantified and evaluated for:
- Composition
- Physical Kernel Characteristics
- Milling Yield
- Flour, dough and baking properties
